My friends and I love to meet and catch up on our lives over long dinners every so often and this weekend, the vote was unanimous for the Cheesecake Factory.  I have not been there for a couple years, and am looking forward to seeing long-time friends and leisurely chatting for at least a couple hours.  There’s always so much to talk about.  I love to look up restaurants online before we go and browse the menu ahead of time.  Everything sounds so good that it takes forever to choose steak or fish or any other number of great sounding meals.   It really helps when you can see the menu ahead of time and decide what you want because all the friends chatting are so distracting from reading the menu.  I’ve already picked out the herb crusted salmon with lemon sauce, asparagus and potatoes, but that could change.  Guess wine is out of the question for the evening because some of my friends picked me as the designated driver.  Just my luck.
