It has been a very busy day today and my old toaster oven is not heating properly.  It might be the temperature control dial not working properly because it will eventually toast something if you play with it.  There are so many things we want to replace, but the toaster oven was not on the most wanted list.  My husband bought the DeLonghi at least 6 or 7 years ago and it has a lot larger capacity than other ones we have had.  It was so nice to bake a whole cut up chicken, pies, pizzas, or casseroles without having to drag out all the pots and pans in the big gas oven.   It was a really big help to just use the toaster oven, especially in the summer, because the gas oven unbearably heats the kitchen.  Christmas is coming soon, so maybe one of my sons will buy us a new one if I can take the time to search for the one that perfectly fits our needs again.
