Who Ate My Gourmet Cheesecake I Was Saving?
It is so amazing that no one knows who just finished off the last piece of the dulce de leche caramel gourmet cheesecake with a mound of whipped cream I was saving for my evening snack tonight. After all, I was the one that brought it home from the Cheesecake Factory. When your household has three men in it, food disappears so fast you cannot even see it happening. Cookies, snacks, pies, cake, gourmet cheesecake — all gone. We had been to Sam’s Club the other week and bought a large supply of pecans that was going to be my first attempt at pecan pie. Well, not any more, the entire bag has also disappeared as well.
Instead of getting to eat cheesecake tonight, I decided to torture myself by watching cheesecakes being made on YouTube, and will make one of them at home soon. I hope the home made version freezes well because some of those pieces will be disguised and hidden. This chocolate one looks pretty good, even if it was missing a mound of whipped cream.
