Walking on the wild side this week, my hair really needs cut.  My hands are still deft enough with the scissors to cut the front in between cuts, but always need a beautician when it all needs cut and shaped.  My mother was a real whiz at doing that for me when I was in my teens.  Not only am I more than somewhat older than a teenager, but now my mother lives out of state.  So much for free haircuts.

We women can never leave well enough alone, so after my haircut appointment, a friend is going to color it for me.  She does her own color and it always looks good.  I tried it once myself and that was a disaster.  I have found a nice medium brown color and the formula says no ammonia which hopefully means it will not be stinky.  If I don’t like it, it will eventually wash out or I could just  get it cut again to hurry up the process.

At least I do not have tiny children to introduce to the barber any more.  My kids were a trip for their first haircut and it took several trips to actually get a first haircut.  Man, this video makes it look easy for kids.  Aw, it is just too cute.
